A Plug-N-Play found in a dumpster in some flyover state. It was in a plastic bag with a stack of electronics cards. For some reason the game requires you to use these cards by inserting them into the controller to play.

Among the cards seemed to be some custom-modded ones that make the game easier to play.

The game seems to be turn-based. Press the END button to end your turn and discard all of the cards in your hand.

Controls:

Mouse: Click the cards and use the buttons on the controller.

Note: I would consider this unfinished. I may re-visit this after the voting period for the shroomjam has ended.

Features I intended to implement but didn't complete:

- Player sprite: reflect the unlocked keys/colors

- Modded card: Monochrome: flips sprites in a radius to the player to a white/gray color for the remainder of the turn - allows skipping a gate/key, but would also have other hidden consequences in specific scenarios

- Combat: enemies that spawn and move towards you and attack you each time the player plays a card

- Combat: AOE attack cards with rolls for dmg + bonus cards for the next attack

- Combat: more enemies spawn when reaching the end of the deck

- Modded card: turn pink and die - screen wipe - would actually flip enemy sprite colors - small chance to an hero the player

- Playing a modded card would make enemies tougher in some way (+point pool and re-roll stats, accumulates until the game ends)

- Audio: 8-bit sounds + card flips/shuffling
